Andrew C. Hyland

Andy joined Port City Architecture as a fully-vested partner in 1995. He has over thirty years of extensive experience in planning and project management design for higher education, public safety, laboratory, commercial, and residential projects. Andy’s work includes initial programming and creation of schematic designs, master plans, site plans, and construction documents, as well facilitating project permitting and specifications. Andy is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all Port City staff, as well as the contractors hired to build the structures born from the firm’s designs.
Lita Anne Semrau
Principal, NCARB, LEED-AP
Lita has more than twenty years' experience designing higher education, public safety, and commercial facilities. She works with clients to take projects through all stages of development—from initial programming through the supervision of final construction. Lita has done extensive research to develop programming processes that maximize both the spacial efficiency of Port City’s designs and the budgets of its clients. Her comprehensive knowledge of green design and LEED-certified practices helps ensure the most energy-efficient and healthy buildings possible for any project’s given budget.
