Falmouth Residence - Kitchen & Master Bedroom Addition

Port City Architecture work to provide an architectural renovation to the kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom.

Falmouth Residence - Master Bedroom Addition

A fresh, modernized appearance was given to the Hurdman ranch.  Port City Architecture completely redesigned this once out-of-date ranch by adding a 320 square foot addition along with a covered deck in the front and an open deck in the back; great for barbeques and family gatherings.

Gilford Court Condominium

Located in the West End neighborhood of Portland, this 8-Unit Condominium project in filled an open lot within a very compacted urban neighborhood. With three stories and a basement, this project still retains the vernacular architecture of small Maine cottages.  The building consists of eight condominium units total, with four 650 square foot units on the first floor, and two 1,300 square foot units on each of the two higher floors.  Each unit has state-of-the-art utilities including an on-demand continuous hot water system.  Large balconies are also incorporated to take advantage of the spectacular views of Casco Bay.

Falmouth Residence

Port City Architecture provided full service architectural and interior design services for this new residence at the Woodland’s Country Club.

Kennebunkport Residence

Andy Hyland designed this five-bedroom home on a narrow sloping site, overlooking the Kennebunk River.  This shingle style revival home is so skillfully nestled in the environment that visitors often assume that the house was a historic renovation.

Kennebuckport Residence

Andy Hyland designed this complete interior remodel of an existing waterfront residence.  A small bedroom was converted into a spacious master bath.  State- of-the-art lighting establishes many different moods throughout.

Cape Elizabeth Residence

Port City Architecture provided architectural renovation concepts for the entry, kitchen, mudroom and master suite areas of this home.
We strived to organize and assimilate the design with the existing spaces in order to provide a relaxed, elegant and cohesive result.

Bailey Island Residence

This oceanfront summer home was remodeled to suit the needs of its new owner.  The cramped, existing kitchen was enlarged and opened to showcase the stunning views of the Bay.  The Great Room was created to capture the expansive views of Casco Bay as well.  An unused second floor was removed to provide the lofty ceiling, relieving the effect of the low ceiling height (7’8”) of the existing first floor.

Falmouth Residence

Port City Architecture will work to provide a single architectural renovation program that will successfully address the deficiencies of this Falmouth residence.  These deficiencies include repairing and redesigning the roof, providing a more pronounced and aesthetically pleasing front entry, providing a master bedroom suite and providing an office or second bedroom.  We will strive to coordinate and integrate the new design elements with the existing home to provide a comfortable, elegant, cost-effective, and unified result.
